The Fun & Spa Hotel Strass is made up of 3 hotels (Hotel Strass, Sport Hotel Strass and the Garni Strass which is 3*) all connected by a panorama bridge, and prides itself on being the most sought after in the resort with its fabulous location at the foot of the Penken Gondola.
As the name suggests there is plenty to do in this hotel, start your day with a relaxing swim or sauna and end it dancing the night away in the hotel disco.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable and come with radio, telephone, TV and most have balconies.
The rooms in the Garni Strass are finished in 3* standard and clients who stay in the Garni have their meals in its own restaurant in the main building; buffet breakfast and a 3 course evening meal with salad buffet.
Clients in the Garni Junior Suites will eat in the main 4* restaurant and rooms are of 4* standard - similar to the main hotel
Please note the 4* Single rooms are allocated in either the Sporthotel Strass or the Hotel Strass.

I've just returned from a few days skiing in Mayrhofen Austria and I had a great stay at the Sport Hotel Strass. With it's excellent facilites and friendly staff and it's great location to the main cable car to the penken ski area , and then after a day of skiing it has a Spa -wellness area within the hotel second to none in the Zillertal - to relax and recover. It's a hotel I will definately be visiting again very soon in 2012

Kinderschool Penken und Ahorn
Children aged between 3 and 14 years are supervised by patient and fully-trained skiing instructors. The course times run from: 10.00 to 12.00 and 13.30 to 15.30
