In Austria there are a few resorts that offer the perfect mix when it comes to skiing, snowboarding and lively après ski like Zell am See, Söll and Saalbach. Saalbach ski resort, alongside Hinterglemm, Vorderglemm and Leogang, make up the famous "Ski Circus" which offers access to over 200km of marked piste.
Saalbach skiing is suitable for all levels with a great selection of ski schools that can take beginners on the central nursery slopes. It makes it nice, easy and convenient for those first timers trying their hand at the sport. For intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders a ski holiday in Saalbach offers access to variety of more challenging and demanding runs that will test your skills. For those who want to really test themselves there are plenty of off-piste adventures to tackle, in the company of a local guide of course. For snowboarders the Ski Circus offers access to a fun parks and half pies located in Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang.
After you book your Saalbach ski deal and get to resort you will find loads of entertainment to keep you going off the slopes. Saalbach/ Hinterglemm has plenty of popular ice bars for when you come down off the slopes, and if you have the energy to spare you can decide whether to go to a piano bar, beer hall or club. Other activities available in resort include snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, ice-skating, tobogganing, ice-climbing and snow-hiking.
