Borovets first began receiving skiers at the end of the 19th century but has really enjoyed seeing a spurt in popularity over the past few years. Skiing in Borovets is best suited to intermediates and 'rusty' experts, with plenty of challenging red runs on offer. In recent years the resort has enjoyed large investment to try and bring it up to speed with other European resorts. The spin-off from this is that you now have a lively spot with a decent selection of hotels, bars and restaurants.

Kindergarten
There is a ski kindergarten located in the Hotel Rila. This can only be booked locally in resort.
It is open from 08.30 to 17.00 hrs and it includes 2 hrs
ski lessons (equipment included as well), lunch, snack and games. Children, aged 1 to 4 years are accepted. Under 7 years do not need a lift pass when accompanied by an adult.
