Blatten-Belalp lies 1322m above sea level, and is situated, with its 350 inhabitants, in the mountain. If you follow the steep, twisting road from Naters, along the picturesque Rebbergen Mountains, you will reach Blatten, a small village which nestles delightfully in the sunny niche of the mountain crest. Blatten is worth discovering, because with its dense concentration of timber houses, in the middle of which the small white church stands out, it has remained a typical mountain village, which despite modernity and progress has maintained its homely atmosphere.
