Set just a few minutes from the heart of Bad Hofgastein, the Hotel Palace is a relaxing, great-value base with an abundance of facilities to enjoy once you're off the slopes: a welcoming bar, an elegant lobby, a lovely restaurant, an extensive spa area and a well-equipped fitness centre. As a warm gesture from the house, every coffee or drink you order between 3:00 and 4:30pm arrives with a complimentary piece of cake – the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
The spa is where the Palace really comes into its own. Take a dip in the large thermal indoor pool, or re-charge in the herbal sauna or steam bath to soothe those ski-weary muscles, before rounding off the day with an après-ski beverage in the hotel's bar.
The rooms are spacious, clean and elegantly furnished, with many offering beautiful mountain views to wake up to – the best possible way to set yourself up for a day on the piste.
Come evening, guests are spoiled for choice at dinner, with an extensive selection of international and local cuisine served buffet-style. Afterwards, why not unwind with some live music or entertainment in the hotel's lounge?
