If you’re looking for a super tranquil resort with a superb location in the heart of Paradiski, then look no further than Plan Peisey. Nestled at a snow-reliable height of 1650m and with easy access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne, the cosy village always proves a popular choice with families, novice skiers, and experts alike.
Right beside the Vanoise Express cable-car, which transport skiers across the valley between La Plagne and the other villages of Les Arcs, Plan Peisey boasts a prime location in Paradiski. Piste-wise, skiers and boarders of all levels are in luck. There are a wealth of different level runs in the surrounding area. The numerous blue runs throughout the forest, which surrounds the village, are ideal for beginners and intermediates, while more advanced skiers can head towards the areas surrounding Arc 2000. Access to the Les Arcs ski area from Plan Peisey is via a high-speed 6-seater ski lift. At the top of this chairlift, there is a blue ski run to the bustling village of Arc 1800. From here, you can take the TransArc gondola to Arc 2000. Sitting snuggly amid glorious alpine surrounds, the picturesque Plan Peisey is small in size yet big on charm. The resort offers a quieter, more relaxed pace of life, which makes it a wonderful spot for families. There are a variety of kid friendly activities on offer, including ski classes, guided tours and kids’ clubs to keep little ones of all ages thoroughly entertained and occupied!
Book and stay in one of our superb, catered chalets, one of which sleeps up to 13 people. Each of our traditionally styled chalets is spacious and airy, and boasts a wonderful location closes to pistes and lifts. Although Plan Peisey’s après ski scene is more subdued than other Arcs resorts, there is still a great little selection of bars offering a more casual ambience. Restaurants in the resort are top notch, serving local produce and the freshest of ingredients. If you’re still feeling energetic after a day on the slopes, you can also enjoy an array of winter wonderland activities, including dog-sledding, snowshoeing and horse-drawn sleigh rides. A short walk away from Plan Peisey, you’ll find the neighbouring resort of Vallandry. Larger in size, yet just as pretty, you’ll find a selection of shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a cinema, library and museum.
