Aime La Plagne, also known as Plagne Aime 2000, is the highest of La Plagne’s resorts at around 2,100m and boasts spectacular views of Mont Blanc. With direct access to the vast Paradiski ski area, it’s a great base for beginner and intermediate skiers, offering ski-in/ski-out convenience and gentle slopes right from the doorstep.
At this snow-sure altitude, the resort offers a relaxed, convenient base with shops, restaurants, ski schools, and local stalls selling cheeses and cured meats, all housed in a large central complex. You’ll also find ski hire and service shops on site.
Après-ski here is low-key and atmospheric, with cosy bars like La Rhumerie offering live music and a laid-back vibe. For a livelier night out, it’s easy to reach Plagne Centre using the Telemetro lift.
No trip to La Plagne is complete without a visit to the famous Grotte de Glace on the Bellecôte glacier—a magical network of ice caves and sculptures carved into the heart of the mountain. A highlight for all ages, and well worth the journey.
