Sitting at 1,800 metres at the foot of the Bellevarde ski area, Residence La Daille is a brilliant base for making the most of Val d’Isère. You can ski straight to and from the residence, with the lifts just a 2 minute walk away, while the centre of Val d’Isère is around 10 minutes away by bus. There are shops, bars and restaurants just across the road too, very handy when your ski legs have decided they’re done for the day.

After a big day on the mountain, the apartments are a cosy place to come home to. Timber interiors bring plenty of Alpine warmth, while the comfortable, welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and unwind. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hobs, a fridge, microwave, grill, dishwasher and coffee maker, so you can cook up a hearty dinner, rustle up something quick, or simply embrace the French Alps diet of bread, cheese and plenty of both. Most apartments also have a balcony, with views across the valley or towards the surrounding mountains.

All the practical bits are taken care of too, with WIFI, laundry facilities and ski lockers for stashing your gear at the end of the day. And if cooking feels like one challenge too many after a full day’s skiing, you won’t have far to go. With bars and restaurants just outside, all that’s left to do is kick off your ski boots, put your feet up and decide what’s for dinner.
